We’re going the extra mile

Sporting Club Thamesmead Manager Simon Jones and Sports Development Officer Dan Wells have challenged themselves to run a marathon 26.2 miles in aid of Sport Relief during their lunch hours over the course of a week.

That’s five miles Monday-Thursday and 6.2 miles on the Friday, all in aid of Sport Relief and the Greenwich School’s Cluster 2012km Challenge! As an added incentive to get people to sponsor their efforts, they designed fancy dress outfits for each other which they wore on their first run on Monday 26 March.

You can still sponsor Simon and Dan by going to their team’s giving page.
